Join Andrew and Emiliy for a workshop for improvers and above, focused on enhancing your ability to maintain flow and connection in both pure balboa and bal swing. They will provide leaders with tips and tricks for leading with a clear sense of direction, while follows will gain insights on maintaining momentum and flowing seamlessly through steps. Both Andrew and Emiliya have won numerous bal competitions and bring a wonderful enthusiasm and creativity to the dance floor.

The world-renowned balboa dancers and teachers Mickey Fortanasce and Natalia Rueda are coming to Oxford to teach at our Monday balboa class! Don’t miss it!

Classes will be at our usual levels of beginners and improvers. We are thrilled to have these balboa icons coming to Oxford: you will love them!

Teaching for Balboa Followers has got better and better over the years… yet on occasion we still suffer from those classes which consist of 55 minutes of being asked to “just follow” while our Leads work on a move, with the last five minutes dedicated to a “variation” for the Followers.
